Ron Statler

Current Position:

Ron Statler is an attorney with Herr Pedersen & Berglund LLP. His experience is in civil litigation focusing primarily on civil rights matters arising from the United States and California Constitutions, fair employment and housing issues, wage and employment disputes, real estate ownership and transfers, and claims that arise from all manner of contracts, appeals, and litigation regarding governmental obligations (mandamus cases). Ron has represented clients in cases involving CEQA, unlawful search and arrest cases, real property disputes, gun owners’ rights, disputes over wills and trusts, and employment cases. Ron has been successful in a number of appeals in both the state and federal appellate systems.

Ron is admitted to the State Bar of California, United States District Court – Eastern District of California, United States District Court – Central District of California, and Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Education:

Ron received his Bachelors of Arts in Theater Arts from California State University – Fresno in 1989. He received his Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law in 2004 (Law Review ’04). He also completed the Marine Corps Engineer School (B-Mech, 1-87).

Professional Associations and Memberships:

Ron is a member of the Tulare County Bar Association. He is also involved in his local community. He actively participates in his local community and is a part of the following: Scoutmaster of Troop 301 – Fresno, Sunday school Teacher/Past Elder of the First Armenian Presbyterian Church, Friends of Roosevelt School of the Arts, National Rifle Association and Community Theater and Music.
