Alex Thompson is an attorney with Herr Pedersen & Berglund LLP concentrating in civil litigation, public entity defense, and business advising. Alex has participated in representing individuals and entities in defending and prosecuting claims regarding construction defects, contract disputes, property and product disputes, civil rights violations, employment disputes, and personal injuries. Additionally, he has advised individuals and entities regarding important business decisions relating to liability exposure and formation.

Alex is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court, Eastern District of California.
In 2011, Alex graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with distinction. He was named as a member of the Traynor Society and served on the Moot Court Honors Board and competed in the New York National and the Jessup International competitions. In the Jessup International competition, his team was recognized for its written work and awarded 4th place best brief for the Pacific Region.
Alex received his Bachelors of Science in Business Management with an emphasis of Finance in 2006 from Brigham Young University – Idaho. While at BYU – Idaho he received first place in the Business Plan Competition, which is based on student-run businesses.
