Rhea Ikemiya is an attorney with Herr Pedersen & Berglund LLP. Before attending law school she worked as a paralegal with a business litigation and insurance defense firm in Fresno. Her experience includes representing business owners, businesses, churches, farmers, and public entities. Before law school, Rhea worked at a non-profit socials services agency for the deaf and hard of hearing and as a freelance sign language interpreter. This experience helped her become an effective and caring advocate for the clients she serves. Since joining our law firm she has focused her practice on estate planning and appellate work, when she is not providing litigation back up.

Rhea graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University – Fresno in 1988. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communicative Disorders. Rhea continued her education at San Joaquin College of Law by receiving her Juris Doctorate in 2009. She graduated with High Honors and was the Valedictorian of her law school class. While attending law school, she as the Executive Editor of the San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review. She was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Betty L. Dawson at the Fifth District Court of Appeal.
